Screen Printing Process
Screen printing is a process of applying ink to a flat surface through a screen mesh. Firstly, we create a stencil of the logo. Secondly, we use a squeegee to move the ink across the permeable part of the logo on the screen. Then, we pass the garment through a dryer to cure the ink. One screen is made for one color. Hence, for a multi-color logo, we make several screens
Screen printing is also known as silk screen printing as silk was used to make the screen mesh. Now a day, there are other materials available in the market. For example, polyester, nylon, stainless etc. We use the most popular polyester mesh for most of our apparel printing. We use nylon and stainless steel, which are special use mesh for printing on irregular surfaces.
Our facility has 3 state-of-the-art automatic rotating screen printing machines. Hence, we are able to print thousands of garments per day.
Our customization process
Artwork: Our first step is to finalize the artwork. Our experienced graphics designer can help put your ideas into the graphic software and make your logo as you want. We can make the vector artwork of your logo and keep it on file for your future orders. And that too for no charge!
If you have finalized your design, send it to us via email or bring it in USB to our office.
Color selection: This is a crucial step because for screen printing, we use one screen for one color. Hence, the printing cost will depend on number of colors in the logo. While finalizing the artwork, you can select the number of colors in your logo depending on your budget. Our screen printing machines have the capability to print up to 8 colors.
Alternatively, if you want to keep a low budget, but still want various colors in your logo, you can choose our heat transfer or digital printing method.
Choosing the garments: We have a huge selection of apparel such as t-shirts, polo shirts, work-wear, sportswear, caps, hoodies and sweatshirts etc. You can choose high quality garments that are made from various materials such as 100% cotton, cotton-polyester blends, 100% polyester, organic cotton, bamboo rayon etc. We also carry Canadian made shirts.
Choosing the printing position: We have a standard format for most of our shirts. Left chest, right chest, full front, full back, nape, left sleeve and right sleeve. If you want any position other than the mentioned ones, you can let us know while making the artwork. We will confirm with our printer regarding the do-ability on the specific position and let you know accordingly.
Finalizing the quote and mock-up: Once the above steps are done, we will send you the quote and mock-up. A mock-up is to show how your logo will look on the garment you chose. You can let us know if you have any changes in the mock-up. We will move on to the production only after you have approved the mock-up.
