Great West Graphics specializes in custom hats and toques. We are based in Vancouver, British Columbia. However, we are expanding our embroidery and heat transfer services to Seattle, Washington, USA. We provide custom embroidered hats and toques for many Seattle schools’ events and corporate businesses.
Our huge selection of hats varies based on color, material, size, and closure. We have hats such as baseball, flat-bill, trucker, etc. We embroider or heat transfer the logo on the hats and toques.
Our Process
We have two methods of decoration on hats: embroidery and heat transfer. While embroidery is the use of thread to form the logo, heat transfer is heat pressing the vinyl print on the garment. Choosing the method of decoration depends on the complexity of the logo or the customer’s choice.
Embroidery
Firstly, we gather the customer’s requirements such as the size and color of the hats/toques and the position of the logo on the hat/toque. Secondly, we digitize the logo and get the number of stitch count for that logo. Then, we use that digitized logo to produce the final embroidery. We send out a sew-out sample to the customer and get their approval. Once approved, we then proceed with the production.

Heat Transfer
This method is used when the logo has a complex design. Complex designs will have higher stitch count which will make the price go higher. For large orders, this would be costly. Hence, we suggest heat transfer for such logos. In some cases, the customers’ requirement will be heat transfer. These are the two scenarios where we use this method.
Here, we get the logo printed on vinyl paper. Then, it is heat pressed on the hats.
